We are going to do Short-term
exchanges, pupils and teachers will develop contents and skills in order to get our aims:
researches, practices and discussion by 9 Activities. We will use a School Certificate:
qualification to complete tasks and solve problems during the project
ACTIVITY C1- "ELECTION"- Each activity will be 3 parts:
- Presentation with researches topic 1: Our Democratic History;
- Practice: 'ELECTION ‘students will participate in an election. This activity is designed to help students understand that the security of freedom and individual rights in a democratic society depends upon a citizen that remains informed. Students will understand that citizens are individually responsible for keeping themselves informed about public policy issues on the local, state, and federal levels; participating in the civic process

ACTIVITY C2 ABC of Citizenship
- Presentation with researches about the topic 2- Democracy in present day Europe
- Practice: students will read and analyze an Alphabet Book for Young Citizens to reinforce their understandings of the distinctions between a right, a responsibility, and a privilege. They will then use the pages in their Alphabet books to create a Citizen’s Bulletin Board, an Exhibit on Citizenship, and Civic Improvisations .

ACTIVITY C3 Purposes of Government
- Presentation with researches about the topic 3- Social Democracy in All Sense
- Practice: students will construct their own understanding of the purposes and powers of government by thinking through a scenario in which a group of people survive a near extinction–level event but are returned “to a state of nature” a life without government. Democratic governments usually act on the will of the people and provide valuable services and protections.

ACTIVITY C4 The Nation's Report Card
- Presentation with researches about the topic 4: School Democracy – Students councils
- Practice : students will reflect on the principles upon which this nation was founded as well as the major events that have shaped this nation to address the question: to what extent have the European people lived up to the principles of the American political system? Students will understand principals and contents of major European states' papers such as independence declarations and Constitution.
- Discussion: Session of Young Parliament: Emigration / Inmigration
ACTIVITY C5 Not For Sale!
- Presentation with researches about the topic 5 : Factors that cause Democracies to weaken
- Practice : students will analyze a case involving a government’s use of eminent domain powers to construct an understanding of property rights and how they might be viewed as essential protections for citizens in a constitutional democracy. Students will compare how constitutional democracies view property rights.
- Discussion: Session of Young Parliament: Doping in the sports
ACTIVITY C6 European Civics Standards - Teams-Games-Tournaments
- Presentation with researches about the topic 6 : Democracy and economic growth
- Practice : This activity employs a lively and effective cooperative learning game (“Teams-Games-Tournaments”) to review the European civics standards in a positive competitive atmosphere
- Discussion: Session of Young Parliament: DDHH in our countries and in Europe
ACTIVITY C7 Who Should I Turn To ?
- Presentation with researches about the topic 7: Anti-Democratic Administrations and consequences
- Practice : students will analyze the different functions of federal, state, and local governments in Europa and examine the reasons for the different organizational structures each level of government employs.
- Discussion: Session of Young Parliament: Environment Problems in my country
ACTIVITY C8 Charting Constitutional History
- Presentation with researches about the topic 8: Our Educative system in our country
- Practice : students will create a Constitutional“storyboard” as a way of organizing and reviewing their knowledge of the Constitution. Students will create a visual representation of the chronology of events and their historical relevance.
- Discussion: Session of Young Parliament: Violence
ACTIVITY C9 Popular Music and the Civil Rights Movement
- Presentation with researches about the topic 9: Social Capital, Intergerational dialogue and social solidarity
- Practice : students will be able to understand the emotional impact of popular music associated with the civil rights movement Identify connections between particular songs and historical events, attitudes and/or figures. Recognize multiple points of view toward the issue of race relations in Europe both historically and in contemporary society. Evaluate selected songs as effective tools for social protest
